We are seeking a dedicated Elite Squad Member to join our team for Valet Trash Services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. In this role, you will be responsible for providing efficient, friendly, and professional doorstep waste and recycling collection services for residents in apartment complexes. Your main goal will be to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the property’s waste management areas, contributing to a better living environment for all. Hours of operation for the position will be Monday-Friday 8pm-10pm.

Duties:

  • Doorstep Collection: Collect bagged trash  from the doorsteps of hotel units and transport them to the community’s waste disposal or recycling area. Typically, collection is performed 7 nights per week.

  • Proper Disposal: Ensure that trash is disposed of properly according to local laws and property guidelines.

  • Maintain Cleanliness: Keep waste collection areas clean and free from litter, and ensure bins and dumpsters are not overflowing.

  • Guest Interactions: Provide friendly and courteous service to residents, ensuring their waste is collected efficiently.

  • Report Issues: Identify and report any issues such as overfilled dumpsters, damaged bins, or safety hazards to property management for resolution.

  • Adhere to Safety Guidelines: Follow all safety procedures when handling waste, and operate any required equipment safely and responsibly.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

  • Must be able to lift and carry trash bags, up to 50 pounds, and walk several flights of stairs while carrying waste(depends on assigned facility)

  • Ability to complete collection duties within a specified timeframe. (<2 hours)

  • Able to communicate effectively with residents and hotel management.

  • Ensure that waste is collected from every room and that the property is left clean and organized.

  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

  • Excellent time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks throughout the shift.

  • A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and maintaining a clean environment.
